Is it good for ceilings and bedrooms?

Yes. DreamBeam works great on walls and ceilings. We also offer a mount add-on if you want the DreamBeam in a fixed place in your room of choice. If you want mobility we recommend using a 1/4" male screw tripod.

How do I connect it to my phone?

Use the free tranScreen app, ensure you enable tranScreen's ability to overlay apps. This is a third party app that is simple to use but if you have data access concerns, disable the "overlay apps" permissions when you are not using it.
